Amrit, born in 2013 AD to Kumar BK and Ratna Kumari BK in Melung -1, Dolakha , near the Tibetan boarder , the remote mountain area of Nepal ,coming from a disadvantaged, untouchable and marginalized family. His parents worked as farmers, and tragically, Amrit’s father lost his lives with unknown diseases. In 2022 Amrit was placed under the care of Hopeful Home Orphanage by his relatives. He was referred to the orphanage by child welfare officer of Changunaraya Municipality to whom the orphanage keeps strong relationship.
