Diwas, the son of Meg Bahadur Karki and Ramila Karki, entered the world in 2014 AD in Triyuga Municipality of Udaypur , the middle hills of eastern Nepal. He is from an impoverished family who depends on agriculture. His parents are physically disabled and used to beg for food. They were living in poor condition. He, along with his elder brother Dipson, was brought to the orphanage by a child welfare officer of Changunarayan Municipality. Despite his challenging background, he finds joy in playing soccer and favoring momo. He is very happy to live in the orphanage. Currently enrolled in grade 4 at United Preparatory English Boarding School, he is a very weak student who faced a difficult start in his education journey. Hope he will make progress by that time. Despite the difficulties, he remains determined to overcome challenges and build a brighter future for himself. November 2023.
