Description

Paras Luhar, born in 2008 AD to Purna Luhar and Goma Luhar in Fukot-7, Kalikot, Karnali, the most remote mountain area of Nepal, coming from a disadvantaged, untouchable and marginalized family. His parents worked as farmers, and tragically, they lost their lives in a landslide 11 years ago. Fortunately, on that incident day, Paras and his elder brother, Jeewan Luhar, were away visiting their older sister, which saved their lives. In 2014, Paras and his older brother Jeewan were placed under the care of Hopeful Home Orphanage by their uncle. Paras' older brother has completed high school and currently resides in Kathmandu with their uncle, pursuing college education. Paras has a keen interest in soccer, enjoys listening to English music, and has an affinity for the color black. He is generally a serene individual who values tranquility. Currently enrolled in grade 8 at United Preparatory English Boarding School, Paras is an average student, with a particular liking for Social Studies.
